The 63-year-old NBA Hall of Famer shared highlights from his prestigious annual summer getaway on Wednesday. This year’s trip featured cameo appearances by Michael Jordan, Samuel L. Jackson, and Judge Greg Mathis.
“Last night, we dined at the famous Da Paolino Ristorante, also known as the Lemon Tree restaurant in Capri, Italy, where we enjoyed an unforgettable evening!” Johnson wrote. “I also had the chance to mingle with Yvette and Michael Jordan, my lifelong best friend and the greatest basketball player, Sam and LaTanya Jackson, Judge Greg and Linda Mathis, John and Vicki Palmer, and Judge Greg and Linda Mathis.”
The joyful group appeared in a series of photographs, including a group shot. Magic and Jordan were seen smiling in another picture while being serenaded by musicians at the celebrated restaurant.
Magic and his 64-year-old wife, Cookie, were featured in the final image posing on the 296-foot Phoenix 2 superyacht they had chartered for a Mediterranean cruise.
The vessel boasts seven cabins and accommodates twelve guests, including a split-level master suite with a private terrace and Jacuzzi accessed via an internal staircase.
According to Magic’s social media updates, the group also visited Greece and France in recent weeks, dining at Michelangelo in Antibes and enjoying fresh sea bass at the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Sardinia.
Magic mentioned in one post that the yacht’s chef prepared an Asian-inspired dinner one evening that included, among other dishes, turkey spring rolls, veggie fried rice, chicken fried rice, black pepper beef, grilled vegetables, sweet and sour prawns, king crab with ginger dressing, Asian slaw, Chinese chicken soup, and lobster, “just to name a few.”
