Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Reunite to Support Daughter North West

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who finalized their divorce in 2022, reunited to support daughter North West’s The Lion King debut during the Feb. 20 episode of The Kardashians.

Kanye West is keeping up with The Kardashians.

The “Famous” rapper made a cameo on his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s reality show during the Feb. 20 episode, appearing backstage at the Hollywood Bowl as their 11-year-old daughter North West got ready for her performance in a Lion King special.

“Her dad has been involved,” Kim—who also shares kids Saint West, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, with Ye—said in a confessional. “Kanye and I want the best for the kids, so any time we’re here supporting our child, it’s always good vibes.”

In fact, Kim said her ex even had a helping hand in the visuals for the show, which took place in May 2024.

“He’s like, ‘Can we change the graphics to The Lion King?'” explained Kim, who described herself as North’s “stage mom.”

Agreeing with Yeezy founder, Kim added she told the crew that Ye’s idea will make “a better production.”

And after North’s big musical debut, the former couple had nothing but praise for their oldest.

“Man, she did so good,” Ye gushed to Kim backstage. “What did you think?”

She quipped back, “I was just crying from the side.”

Kim, 44, finalized her divorce from Ye, 47, in 2022 after eight years of marriage. For the SKIMS founder, her romance with the Grammy winner fizzled out not because of “personal reasons, but circumstances change that force your marriage to end.”

“That’s the hardest part,” she shared on the Feb. 13 episode of The Kardashians, “when you don’t foresee something happening that really changes a person’s personality and then they’re not the same person.”

Kim continued, “You can’t ever get that person back—but you can’t live with the new person.”
