Unveiling the Mystery Behind the ‘Bandit Mask’ of the Black-Throated Bushtit

This birds name is not the only іпсгedіЬɩe thing about it, its also an absolute delight to look at.

These birds are tiny, stretching only up to 4 inches long and weighing in at around 4-9 grams.

 

Sporting a multiple colored plumage, with a black ‘bandits mask’ around the eyes as well as white and orangey-brown patches all over.

Their diet consists of berries, seeds, smaller insects and spiders.

 

Found in the open broadleaf and pine forests, often in middle-level altitudes.

They are highly ѕoсіаɩ birds, often traveling in large flocks of up to 40 birds.

 

The black-throated bushtits are found from the foothills of the Himalayan mountains all the way across India and through countries such as Bangladesh and Taiwan.
