Real Madrid is allegedly interested in making a surprise move for Kobbie Mainoo, a star player for Manchester United. The player has had a great first season in the Premier League, and the best teams in Europe are now watching.

 

The whole United team hasn’t played as well as Mainoo has this season. On Sunday, in a 2-2 draw with Liverpool, he scored his second goal of the season by turning inside the box and sending a shot into the top corner.

Real Madrid will have to replace great players Luka Modric and Toni Kroos this summer. They both have contracts that end in the summer, so they could leave.

 

 

There are several ways for Los Blancos to get ready for their exit. This season, Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Federico Valverde have all done great in Carlo Ancelotti’s middle.

Don Diario, a Spanish newspaper, says that Real could try to sign a young player in the summer. They have also been closely watching Mainoo’s progress with the United first team. It is said that President Florentino Perez finds the idea of signing Mainoo “very interesting.”

 

Real Madrid wants a player who can move the ball better through the middle thirds. They think that Mainoo is the kind of player they want and that he would do especially well with Camavinga.

Mainoo and Camavinga also have the same agents. Real Madrid may have thought that this would give them an edge when talking about a possible move.

 

United isn’t going to let go of their most promising young player. At age 18, Mainoo has already firmly established himself as a regular starter in Erik ten Hag’s midfield. In March, he won his first senior England caps.
