Jhené Aiko recently bought a second home in the same mountain-view village as her East Coast-style home in Pacific Palisades and her longtime partner Big Sean’s French Normandy-style estate in Encino.
The Grammy-nominated R&B singer bought her new home for slightly over $5.6 million, according to public documents. It was built in the early 1980s but extensively renovated. It has almost 4,700 square feet on two levels, five bedrooms, and equal bathrooms.
A modern Ring Alarm system secures the cream-colored stucco and terracotta-roof building on more than a half-acre, which has a side-tucked three-car garage and an arched entry porch. A formal living room with a two-way fireplace, custom storage, and a double-height entrance leads to a family room with a wet bar and French doors to the outside.
The main level has a mural-decorated dining room, a gourmet kitchen with an eat-in island, new Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, a walk-in pantry, and a breakfast nook. A master suite with a balcony, two walk-in closets, and a Jacuzzi is one of four upstairs bedrooms.
The backyard contains a renovated sport court, a new pool and spa, two fire pits, and an outdoor kitchen. Fruit, palm, and olive trees grow there.
