Arsenal officially sign David Raya on a long-term deal

London, 5 July 2024: Arsenal Football Club are delighted to announce the permanent signing of goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford FC.

Raya joined Arsenal on loan in January 2024 and quickly established himself as a key player, helping the Gunners secure a second-place finish in the Premier League. The 28-year-old Spanish shot-stopper made a total of 20 appearances for the club across all competitions, keeping seven clean sheets.

The transfer fee for Raya is reported to be £27 million, following a £3 million loan fee paid earlier this year. He has signed a long-term contract with Arsenal and will wear the number 23 shirt.
