Aaron Ramsey, a star for Arsenal, has acquired a magnificent mansion in Wales for £5 million… replete with a gym, golf course, and helicopter pad.
The expansive property was acquired by the Gunners midfielder just outside of Cardiff in preparation for the 2017-18 season.
.
The expansive 20-acre estate features a helicopter platform, snooker room, gym, three-hole golf course, and swimming pool, in addition to a snooker room.
At the time of its last listing in 2012, Rightmove described it as follows: “A remarkable residence distinguished by its exceptional style and quality, meticulously designed in accordance with the proprietors’ ideal dwelling plan, with inspiration culled from their extensive globetrotting across continents.”
“It embodies the spirit of a Welsh longhouse while incorporating Mediterranean, Californian, North African, and Asian influences, all of which harmonize to an exquisite degree.”
.
.
“The end result combines the most pleasant of contrasts in that it is coolly minimalist whilst being sumptuously luxurious.”
Cardiff-based news sources assert that Gareth Bale, a teammate of Ramsey’s for Wales, was intrigued by the property and was even considering enlarging the 12,000-square-foot mansion.
Ramsey is believed to have purchased the gated property from Alan Peterson, one of the most prosperous industrialists in Wales.
.
Hayley Parsons, the founder of GoCompare, and Peter Thomas, the chairman of the Cardiff Blues, a professional rugby region, are among Ramsey’s new neighbors.
Ramsey’s helicopter platform, on the other hand, will be the crown jewel of the residence, guaranteeing that he is never further than an hour’s distance from Arsenal’s training facility at London Colney.
