Ghоst’s Tobias Forge Now Resembles ‘Black Album’ Era James Hetfield
At the world premiere of Ghоst’s Rite Here Rite Now on June 18, Tobias Forge debuted a new look reminiscent of James Hetfield during Metallica’s ‘Black Album’ era.
The premiere was held at Picturehouse Central in London, with Forge attending alongside director Alex Ross Perry and various figures from the movie and rock community. Forge sported a Venom shirt under a gothic suit jacket featuring white stitching, silver lapels, and small silver skulls near the clavicles.
Gone is the clean-shaven, short-haired Forge of yesterday. He now sports long hair and mutton chops, strongly resembling Hetfield’s early ’90s style.
Critics have also drawn parallels between Rite Here Rite Now and Metallica’s 2013 concert movie thriller Through the Never, further solidifying the connection between Forge and Hetfield’s era.
