Is Metallica Coming to Fortnite? Here are a few plausible clues

Fortnite often features popular music acts in live concerts or special in-game events. A recent discovery has sparked excitement among fans about the potential arrival of Metallica in Fortnite.

A keen-eyed fan, through data mining Fortnite’s backend, found a text file mentioning “used in CH5S3 Metallica Concert,” as reported by Fortnite insider Shiina. This snippet of information suggests that a Metallica concert is slated to occur during the ongoing Chapter 5, Season 3 of Fortnite. This season, which began on May 24, is scheduled to end on August 16.

Metallica’s presence in Fortnite isn’t unprecedented. Since 2022, players have been able to purchаse a “Master of Puppets” emote. Additionally, developers have confirmed that this iconic song will be featured in Fortnite Festival, a rhythm game within Fortnite, akin to Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

Fortnite Festival has previously showcased major acts like Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, and currently, Billie Eilish. Metallica might be the next big nаme to join this lineup. These collaborations typically bring artist-inspired instruments, characters, and quests into the game, along with selected tracks from the artists’ discographies. Billie Eilish’s feature is expected to conclude on June 13.

Whether Metallica will take over as the headliner or perform a live concert in Fortnite, similar to past performances by Ariana Grande and Travis Scott, remаins to be seen.
