Kai Havertz and Oleksandr Zinchenko squared off in a friendly match between Germany and Ukraine with an unexpected result

Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney, both left backs, played in Monday night’s friendly matches for their respective nations and both kept clean sheets.

In a remarkable away draw against Germany, Zinchenko played the whole 90 minutes in his 61st international appearance. In his 45th appearance for his country, Kai Havertz played for half of the match.

On Friday, Ukrаine will play a friendly away to Poland, while Germany will host Greece in a friendly to continue their preparations for Euro 2024.

Tierney made his 43rd appearance for Scotland’s national team in a 2-0 away victory against Gibraltar. He came on in the 66th minute of the match. Scotsman Ryan Christie scored first, and in the 85th minute, Che Adams sealed the victory.

On Friday night, Scotland will play their last friendly before the European Championships against Finland.
