NBA YoungBoy Says His Beef With Lil Durk Is Over And Now They Always Talk “Every Two Or Three Nights”
On Tuesday (Dec. 5), YoungBoy Never Broke Again responded to Gillie Da King’s request for him to headline the second annual GillieFest alongside Lil Durk.
In an Instagram post, the Baton Rouge rapper clarified the nature of his relationship with Durk, captioning it, “It ain’t what you think OG, all this s**t entertainment.” In the video, YoungBoy disclosed that he and Durk communicate “every two or three” nights despite their past conflicts.
“[Durk] be tryna talk to me ‘bout my music. He focused on a billiоn dollars right now,” YoungBoy shared. “Get them to let me out [of] this house, I’ll Һit that stage for you. How you want me to come? Every chain on or just one chain?”
The idea of having both rappers headline the festival emerged after a caller asked Gillie who he’d want for his next hometown event during “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” on Sunday (Dec. 3). Gillie remarked, “If both of them could Һit the stage in the same night, it could show the youngins that, that s**t ain’t that serious. The beef ain’t that serious. None of this drаmа is that serious.”
The first GillieFest in July featured artists like Sexyy Red, G Herbo, Babyface Ray, Finesse2Tymes, and Icewear Vezzo.
In response to YoungBoy’s video, Durk took to his Instagram Story, writing, “You lied ’bout sending the address [seven times] when I asked. I’m finna grab my coat one more time. Send the address.” YoungBoy later explained that he needs approval from his probation officer before allowing visitors, posting, “I love [the fk] out you. Help me [bch], Lil Durk.”
The beef between YoungBoy and Durk dates back to November 2020 when King Von was shot and killed during an altercation with Quando Rondo, an affiliate of YoungBoy, and his crew. Charges against the gunman, Lul Tim, who fired at King Von, were dropped this past August.
