Renowned rapper Nicki Minaj has finally made a significant real estate purϲҺase after years of renting various large homes in the Los Angeles area. The Grammy-winning artist has set her sights on Hidden Hills, a prestigious guard-gated community in the San Fernando Valley, where she has acquired a brand-new estate for $19.5 million.
Developed this year by a local builder, the expansive modern farmhouse was swiftly sold before even hitting the market, according to the property’s realtor. Unfortunately, limited information and photos are available at this time. However, tax records indicate that the sprawling residence spans approximately 11,820 square feet and boasts eight bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and two powder rooms.
Situated on a flat lot of about one acre, the property showcases additional amenities such as a separate guesthouse, a poolside cabana, a saltwater pool with a spa and Baja shelf, and meticulously landscaped grounds for ultimate privacy. The main house features pocketing glass doors that open to multiple patios and terraces, while the master suite on the upper level boasts a private balcony overlooking the backyard.
Nicki Minaj has shown a preference for grand residences. Currently residing in a lavish rental mansion with her husband Kenneth Petty, the Trinidadian-born artist, aged 40, occupies a hilltop abode in Calabasas, nestled within one of the city’s gated communities. Their temporary home, built in the 1990s, spans over 10,000 square feet, offering marble floors, six bedrooms, and nine bathrooms. However, it is likely that Minaj, Petty, and their entourage will soon transition to their new, more expansive estate in Hidden Hills.
Once a serene community reminiscent of Kentucky’s countryside, Hidden Hills has recently transformed into a haven for the rich and famous seeking a tranquil residential environment, attracting professional athletes and musicians in particular. The neighborhood’s landscape has shifted, now featuring more Ferraris and Lamborghinis than horses. Notable residents include Madonna, Jessica Simpson, Will and Jada Smith, Lori Loughlin, Sylvester Stallone, Ben Simmons, numerous Kardashians, and a significant portion of the Los Angeles Rams’ current roster.
The Hidden Hills listing was represented by Danielle Nisim and Aaron Kirman of AKG, while the buyer was represented by Kirman and Matt Adamo, also of AKG.
