Arsenal is set to sell Gabriel Jesus, nicknamed the ‘wooden leg’, for around £40M

Gabriel Jesus makes his way to the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2022, joining from Man City for a hefty fee of 45 million pounds.

The talented Brazilian player had a strong start with the Gunners, showcasing his skills by scoring 3 goals and contributing 3 assists in the initial 5 matches. However, his performance was affected by some setbacks, including injuries.

Jesus suffered a severe knee ιnjury during the 2022 World Cup, which will keep him sidelined for a period of three months.

This season, Gabriel Jesus was sidelined for only 6 matches because of ιnjury, but his playing time was restricted due to Kai Havertz’s exceptional performance.

The German striker has been impressing Mikel Arteta with a string of outstanding performances as of late.

In the 2023/24 Premier League, Havertz has netted an impressive 12 goals and provided 6 assists, while Gabriel Jesus has managed 4 goals and 4 assists.

According to The Athletic, it has been reported that Arsenal officials are open to considering offers for Jesus.

The Brazilian international has a remaining contract of 3 years with The Gunners. However, the club is open to the possibility of him departing if a suitable offer (around £40 million) is made.
