Metallica and Represent Debut Exclusive Merchandise Collection

Special 19-piece capsule commemorates 40 years of ‘Ride the Lightning’ and other Metallica classics

Metallica has joined forces with clothing company Represent to launch an exciting new collaborative merch collection.

Focusing on honoring 40 years of Metallica’s iconic thrash masterpiece ‘Ride the Lightning’, the collection features a diverse array of items, including various T-shirts and hoodies adorned with the band’s legendary logo.

Among the standout pieces is the eye-catching Metallica Leather Battle Jacket, showcasing the artwork from ‘…And Justice for All’ on the back and the cover of ‘Kill ‘Em All’ on the sleeve.

The T-shirt selection highlights designs inspired by the ‘Ride the Lightning’ album artwork, along with additional shirts paying homage to ‘Master of Puppets’ and ‘…And Justice for All’.

The concept for the Represent x Metallica collaboration originated when Represent co-founder Mike Heaton stumbled upon a vintage Metallica tee from over 30 years ago. This discovery served as a catalyst, inspiring many facets of the Represent brand over the subsequent seven years.

In a press release, Heaton expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Today, we unveil a true collaboration, not merely a licensing agreement. Represent x Metallica represents an authentic co-branded collection—a seamless fusion of brand and band.
