During Movember, Arsenal veteran Ian Wright hopes to promote mentаl health awareness and inspire others to “open up and ask for help” by enlisting Aaron Ramsdale as his Mo Mate. For the purpose of bringing attention to me𝚗’s mentаl health difficulties, the annual Movember moveme𝚗t promotes the growing of moustaches throughout the month of November. It can be challenging to join the moveme𝚗t, though, for me𝚗 who are unable to grow moustaches, which is an estimated 6 million males in the UK.
Gillette brand ambassador Wright has admitted, “I can’t grow a decent” moustache, so he has asked Ramsdale to help him grow one.
A whopping 63% of those under the age of 35 said they would think about growing some facial foliage for Movember, and if a trusted buddy asks, the likelihood of participation increases thrice.
Once again, I’m thrilled to be partnering with Gillette to promote Movember,’ Wright exclaimed.
Aaron is my Mo Mate because he’s growing a moustache that, fingers crossed, is good enough for us and gets people talking, because I’m hopeless at growing moustaches.
It was the finest decision I ever made when I finally spoke to someone about how I felt after holding them inside for a long time. If others are going through tough times, I hope this ad encourages them to reach out for support.
With any luck, it will inspire more individuals to grow their own moustache or invite a friend to do so, facilitate more open dialogue about mentаl health, and bring attention to a worthy cause like Movember.
In light of the tragically high male suiciԀe rate in the United Kingdom (three out of four suicides are me𝚗) and the global average of one man committing suiciԀe every minute, the Movember campaign seeks to normalize conversations about mentаl health among me𝚗.
In an effort to improve early intervention, the campaign is encouraging friends to participate together in the hopes that trusted peers will make it easier to address the taboo subject.
