Metallica’s Lars Ulrich embarked on an aquatic adventure alongside his friends in the scenic waters of Split, Croatia

In a display of daring, the 60-year-old actor executed a graceful backflip off a luxurious yacht, drawing the attention of his 57-year-old comedian friend Chris and the 50-year-old renowned actor Sacha. Chris, who recently confirmed his relationship with Lake Bell during their time together in Trogir, Croatia, wore a broad grin as he witnessed Wооdy’s plunge into the Adriatic Sea.

For his aquatic escapade, Wооdy sported floral swim trunks, later opting for a navy blue tie-dye polo shirt and matching shorts, along with a baseball cap, for a shore excursion. Meanwhile, Chris donned a casual gray t-shirt and shorts, accessorizing with gray headphones, while Sacha opted for a slate blue t-shirt paired with pink shorts and a stylish brown fedora. Sacha eventually shed his shirt as he, along with Wооdy, his wife Laura Louie, and other friends, boarded a dinghy.

After his daring dive, Wооdy was seen swimming alongside Sacha, while Lars, 58, joined the festivities by swimming alongside a jet ski. Later, Wооdy, Laura, and their companions were spotted taking the dinghy over to Split, with Wооdy waving to friends aboard the yacht and Laura sporting a cheerful demeanor.

Wооdy and Laura, who have been married since 2008, share three daughters: Deni, 29, Zoe, 25, and Makani, 16. Once docked, the group disembarked, with members of the yacht crew attending to the dinghy.

Joining the vacation were additional companions, including French photographer Jean-René, whose full identity remаins unconfirmed. Actor Matthew McConaughey also joined the group on the yacht after spending time in the Croatian peninsula of Istria. Notably absent from the outing was Chris’s reported girlfriend, Lake Bell.

Wооdy has a longstanding tradition of enjoying vacations with his circle of close friends. In 2018, he shared an Instagram photo from France featuring Chris, Matthew, Lars, Sacha’s wife Isla Fisher, and U2’s Bono. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Wооdy humorously referred to these gatherings as his “friendship tour,” joking about the leisurely lifestyle they entail.
