Mikel Arteta updates injury situation at Arsenal and shares news about a star’s return before Arsenal’s upcoming match against Aston Villa at Emirates Stadium

Mikel Arteta addressed the media in anticipation of Arsenal’s upcoming game against Aston Villa at Emirates Stadium on Sunday. The Arsenal coach provided an update on the current status of Arsenal’s squad, including the well-being of Gabriel Magalhaes.

This weekend, Arsenal will be facing tough competition from both Manchester City and Liverpool. This presents a chance for their adversaries to exert pressure on the Gunners, as their game against Villa was called off because of Unai Emery’s team’s involvement in the UEFA Europa Conference League.  Prior to the press conference, there were speculations swirling around about Gabriel Magalhaes’ absence from training. When questioned about Gabriel, Arteta responded by stating that they have one more day to prepare for the match and will assess everyone’s readiness. When questioned about any signs of exhaustion following the Champions League match against Bayern, Arteta responded, “There is a slight sense of fatigue, but hopefully we will overcome it in due time.”

Jurrien Timber still has some progress to make, according to the Spanish coach. He should participate in a game with a full squad of 23 players. We will also be hosting a game at our stadium. He has successfully completed all the necessary training, and now we just have to wait for the perfect moment to utilize Timber’s skills.

Arteta will undoubtedly strive for victory, despite facing a formidable opponent in Aston Villa, who have been exceptional this season. Securing a victory will ensure the Gunners maintain their position at the top of the standings. Arsenal has the opportunity to secure their championship title by winning all 7 remaining matches. However, the task ahead won’t be easy as Arsenal will also have to face both Tottenham and Manchester United on their turf. If they outperform all of Arteta’s soldiers, they will undoubtedly be the most deserving team for the crown.
