Red Avadavat in India, this bird will molt and transform after 3 weeks of leaving the nest

The Cinnamon Finch is an elegant bird with a long tail, a vivid cheek color, and a vivid red face. After departing the nest, these finches undergo a metamorphosis, converting their feathers into adult plumage, around three weeks later.

These unique birds can only be found in northern Australia and certain parts of southern New Guinea.

Tall, thick grasses are typically seen in areas where scrawny finches flourish. These places are frequently found next to wetlands since there are lots of trees there that are suited for them to live.
