California dog named Storm Slips Away from Home, Infiltrates Metallica Concert: A Four-Legged Metal Fan

Storm, a daring dog, caused quite a stir at a recent Metallica concert. Last month, she slipped away from her home and managed to attend the metal band’s concert in Inglewood, California, staying to enjoy the entire show! Speculation arose among fans, pondering if someone had abandoned their furry friend at the SoFi Stadium.

However, Metallica themselves clarified the situation on Twitter, stating, “Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her home adjacent to SoFi Stadium and made her way to the gig all by herself. After a full night taking in the show with her Metallica Family, Storm was safely reunited with her actual family the next day.”

According to the heavy metal band, it appeared that Storm thoroughly relished the sold-out performance. They shared a picture of the adventurous pup seemingly engrossed in the show as she sat in the venue. Referring to her as their “four-legged fan,” the band mentioned that she “had a great time listening to her favorite songs, including ‘Barx AEterna,’ ‘Master of Puppies,’ and ‘The Mailman That Never Comes,'” playful nods to some of their iconic tracks. “And in case you were wondering, no. You definitely shouldn’t bring your furry friends to the M72 World Tour,” the band cautioned. “But this dog sure did have her day.”

Storm’s family, who resides near SoFi Stadium, reported that their German Shepherd had escaped from their yard on August 2, as per WKRC. The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation stated that she was taken to a nearby shelter by animal services shortly after the concert. The following day, she was happily reunited with her family. “Based on the owner’s Facebook page, the dog looks cared for and loved,” the foundation mentioned in a Facebook post. “Thank you to everyone who helped to share the post.”

Her owner, Arizbeth Hurtado, humorously shared their discovery about Storm. “She is home and safe! We learned something new about her… she is apparently a huge Metallica fan who decided to sneak out for the concert!” Hurtado joked on PetHelpful, as reported by The New York Post. “We were laughing so hard when we saw she was SITTING IN AN ACTUAL SEAT AT THE CONCERT.”

Many were surprised by how Storm managed to infiltrate the concert venue. Facebook user Ronnie Compton commented, “I see people asking how this could happen, well… I have a fаt little pug and he loves people, and he loves food! If he smelled hоt dogs he’d find a way in that venue!” Rashmi Td quipped, “Pup wаnted to see Metallica! Can you blame him? I paid hundreds of $$ to see them and there this little pupper saw them for free. Must be a good doggo.”
