NBA legend Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal’s mansion in the Orlando area has been put back on the market after a previous deal fell through and underwent a redesign. Situated near Orlando in Windermere, the property, which O’Neal purchased for $3.95 million in 1993 and later expanded, is now listed for $16.5 million.
The mansion was previously listed for $28 million in 2018, showcasing O’Neal’s unique touches, such as a master bedroom with a round bed and a built-in fish tank surrounded by a mural of himself. However, in its redesigned state, the mansion features a more neutral aesthetic, with upgrades aimed at appealing to luxury home buyers.
Despite the changes, the property still boasts extravagant amenities, including a two-story great room, a home theater, a cigar humidor, and a large pool overlooking Lake Butler. Benjamin Hillman of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.
