As Metallica’s lead vocalist James Hetfield, accompanied by guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo, graces the Gershwin Prize Dinner

Rock on! Metallica’s frontman James Hetfield, along with guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo, graced the red carpet at the 2024 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize Dinner. The event, held in Washingtоn D.C., saw the trio making a stylish appearance before hitting the road again.

James Hetfield, aged 60, exuded coolness in a green and black dress shirt, complemented by a black leather coat and black pants with gold-tipped boots. He was accompanied by his girlfriend Adriana Gillett, who dazzled in a black and gold gown and gold platform heels.

Kirk Hammett, aged 61, opted for a layered look with a white shirt under a grey shirt and a black leather jacket. Adding a touch of flair, he rocked leopard print pants for the evening.

Bassist Robert Trujillo, aged 59, kept it classic in a black suit paired with a white shirt and black tie. He added a stylish twist with silver and black Golden Goose sneakers for comfort on the red carpet.

The iconic heavy metal group is gearing up to resume their M72 World Tour, starting in late May in Munich and continuing across Europe until mid-July. They will then return to the United States for the final leg, culminating with performances at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and Foro Sol in Mexico City in late September.

The tour, in support of their 11th studio album “72 Seasons,” received widespread acclaim upon its release in April 2023. Despite facing setbacks, including James Hetfield’s bаttle with CоVID-19, Metallica remаins determined to deliver electrifying performances to their loyal fans worldwide.
