Tennis icon Serena Williams has decided to part ways with her luxurious Beverly Hills mansion, listing the property for $7.5 million. The tennis star, who primarily resides in Florida with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and their daughter Olympia, recently put the 6,000-square-foot California home on the market, as reported by the New York Post on March 12, 2021.
Situated within a gated community in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood, the three-story residence boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The elegant property includes notable features such as a wine cellar, full bar, yoga room, and gym. A captivating pool surrounded by a covered patio adds to the allure of the mansion.
While Serena’s primary residence is in Florida, last month she offered Architectural Digest a tour of her 14,500-square-foot Florida property. The estate, transformed into her dream home with the assistance of sister Venus Williams and her interior design firm V Starr, reflects Serena’s taste and style. In the interview, she mentioned, “You have to know your lane. I’m really good at playing tennis; I’m not as good at interiors. But I was able to learn through just watching Venus.”
Serena, 39, purchased the Beverly Hills mansion when she had just started dating Alexis Ohanian. Now, the couple resides there with their three-year-old daughter, Olympia. Alexis, the 37-year-old Reddit founder, played a role in designing Olympia’s bedroom, complete with a custom-made castle bed featuring a slide and a handblown glass chandelier by artist Josh Fradis.
Despite the recent listing of the Beverly Hills property, Serena and her family continue to enjoy their expansive Florida home, where they’ve created a harmonious living space filled with personal touches and thoughtful designs.
