The six-bedroom, six-full-and-two-half-bath condo sold for $49.5 million, the highest price paid for a downtown home this year. The New York Post reports that the company is hidden behind a Seattle-based LLC, and celebrity rumor implies a tech giant like Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos as the new owner.
