Grammy-Winning Beatboxer Kevin Olusola Makes Stunning Purchase in Exclusive Westlake Village

Grammy-winning beatboxer Kevin Olusola, known for his role in the a cappella group Pentatonix, has made a stunning real estate purchase in the exclusive Westlake Village.

Pentatonix, which gained fame after winning NBC’s “The Sing-Off” in 2011, has achieved significant success, with multiple EPs, full-length albums, and a Grammy award for their collaboration with Dolly Parton on “Jolene.”

Kevin Olusola, the group’s talented beatboxer, tied the knot with Leigh Weissman over a year ago. Recently, the devout Christian and Kentucky native invested in a $2.8 million home in Westlake Village, an idyllic suburb just an hour north of Downtown Los Angeles.

Constructed in 1979 and extensively renovated in 2018, Olusola’s new residence is situated on a serene cul-de-sac with panoramic views of hills and hiking trails. The house features cream-colored parquet floors, a spacious great room with LaCantina foldaway doors for seamless indoor/outdoor living, and a picturesque backdrop of undulating hills.

The expansive great room incorporates a family/living space with a linear fireplace and built-in cabinetry. The gourmet chef’s fantasy kitchen boasts premium SubZero and Wolf appliances, Ann Sacks tile backsplash, and Caesarstone countertops. A butler’s pantry connects to the formal dining room, characterized by a contemporary design with an icicle chandelier, fabric walls, and a white stone fireplace. The main floor also includes a guest bedroom suite, mudroom, and laundry room.

The second floor houses four additional bedrooms, including a large master suite with a fireplace, seating area, dual vanities, and a glass steam shower in the bathroom. A sizable terrace off the main landing offers expansive sunset views over the surrounding hills.

The backyard features an irregularly-shaped, hexadecagonal pool and Jacuzzi surrounded by a small patch of grass and a brick-and-concrete patio. The residence comes equipped with epoxy garage flooring, a Sonos audiovisual system, motorized window coverings from Lutron, and recessed LED lighting throughout.

Despite this new purchase, the 32-year-old Olusola still owns his Los Angeles bachelor pad, a three-bedroom townhouse in Hawthorne, currently listed for $999,000 after being purchased for approximately $850,000 in 2016. The townhouse is already in escrow, actively seeking fallback offers.
