Eddie Murphy’s latest sequel, “Coming 2 America,” is set in two worlds: the rich royal realm of Zamunda, which resembles a rapper’s mansion, and Prince Akeem’s prior existence in Queens, New York.

Murphy was born in Brooklyn’s public housing. After “Saturday Night Live,” the comic started a solo stand-up and acting career.

The 59-year-old lives with his family in a $20 miℓℓio𝚗 Beverly Hills mansion and on a $15 miℓℓio𝚗 Bahamas island.
