Metallica announces shows in Austria in 2024. James Hetfield and the band will rock out at a horse racing track in Ebreichsdorf

Metallica is set to make their way to the Alpine country next year. “Papa Het” and the band will rock out at a horse racing track in Ebreichsdorf.

Metallica has already completed the first part of their “M72 World Tour” this year, themed “No Repeat Weekends.” James Hetfield and the crew host two shows with different setlists in one city over a weekend. In May 2024, the “Four Horsemen” will stop in Munich as part of this tour.

In addition to the “No Repeat” tour, the thrash metal legends will also play regular concerts next year. Metallica will visit the Hellfest in Clisson, France, among other destinations. Recently, the quartet announced another rendezvous – this time in Austria. On June 1, 2024, they will perform at the Magna Racino grounds, the “most modern horse racing track” in Europe, in Ebreichsdorf near Vienna.

Even though Hetfield, Ulrich, Trujillo, and Hammett will only turn up their amplifiers for one night, they bring company from the “M72 World Tour.” Not only will Eddie Van Halen’s son, Wolfgang, with his band Mammoth WVH join the mosh pit, but horror metallers Ice Nine Kills and redneck metallers Five Finger Death Punch will also grace the “Racino Rocks” event. Approximately 60,000 fans will find a place in the area in Ebreichsdorf. Official ticket sales begin on Friday, December 1, with an exclusive pre-sale already underway at Ticketmaster.
