Dwayne Johnson, the charismatic actor and wrestling legend, possesses a true automotive gem in his collection – the McLaren P1. According to GQ Australia, the starting price for Johnson’s McLaren P1 is a staggering $1.15 million (approximately 27 billion VND). This exceptional vehicle, produced only from 2013 to 2015, is a rarity with a limited production run of 375 units.

McLaren describes the P1 as a high-performance marvel, boasting aerodynamic excellence with its tightly-wrapped chassis over key mechanical points and a centrally located cockpit.

Under the hood, the P1 features a mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine paired with a 132 kW electric motor, generating a combined power output of 903 horsepower and a torque of 900 Nm. Capable of reaching a top speed of 349 km/h, this extraordinary car can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in a mere 2.8 seconds.

In electric-only mode, the P1 has an operational range of 30.5 km. The RaceActive chassis control system efficiently channels power to the ground, adjusting up to 272 kg through front and rear flaps that adapt to changing road conditions. Similar to the Ford GT, the P1 is equipped with a monocoque carbon fiber body, providing double the strength of titanium.

Dwayne Johnson’s choice of the McLaren P1 reflects not only his discerning taste but also an appreciation for automotive engineering at its pinnacle. This rare and powerful machine stands as a testament to McLaren’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance and design, creating an automotive masterpiece for the fortunate few who can experience its exhilarating capabilities.
