Metallica to Re-release Iconic Tracks from “The Black Album”

The band Metallica is set to re-release “The Black Album” in September. Having achieved 16 platinum records and 550 weeks on the Billboard Top 200, it stands as one of the most successful albums in the history of global rock music.

In commemoration of its 30th anniversary, Metallica plans to re-release “The Black Album” with the aim of contributing proceeds to charity. Released in 1991, this album is considered the band’s most successful. The reimagined version of “The Black Album” is scheduled for public release on September 10.

Alongside “The Black Album,” Metallica will also release “The Metallica Blacklist,” featuring 12 songs with contributions from 53 artists worldwide. Notable names like Miley Cyrus, Chris Stapleton, Weezer, and Elton John are expected to participate in this album. Rock and hard rock artists such as Ghоst, Corey Taylor, The HU, Idles, White Reaper, Royal Blооd, and Volbeat are also making contributions.

“With contributions from artists from the United States to Nigeria, the album will feature singers, songwriters, country artists, electronic musicians, hip-hop artists, as well as indie, punk rock, metal artists, and many others with whom we have collaborated on stage, including those who were not even born when the original album was first released,” revealed Metallica.

Metallica has declared that all profits from the release of “The Black Album” will be used for charitable purposes through the band’s “All Within My Hands” foundation and other organizations chosen by the collaborating artists this time.

“Beyond fundraising for charity, we want to demonstrate that Metallica’s music transcends genres, boundaries, and cultures. With everyone’s help, we have achieved that. The important thing is that artists can choose any song they feel most in tune with; if they want to reinterpret that song, go ahead, no matter how many versions exist. We are honored that such esteemed artists want to participate in the project. We hope people will enjoy listening, just as we are thrilled to bring everyone together,” stated Metallica.
