Metallica has unveiled new professionally shot footage of their live performance of “Harvester Of Sorrow” as part of their ongoing M72 world tour. The video captures the band’s rendition of the song, originally featured on the 1988 album ‘…And Justice For All,’ during their show in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 3.

The St. Louis performance was one of the stops on Metallica’s M72 world tour, which involves the band playing two shows in each city they visit without repeating songs. The tour has been a remarkable success, drawing significant praise for its dynamic and diverse setlists.

Metal Hammer attended the band’s twin M72 headline sets at the Download festival in Donington, UK, back in June. Journalist Merlin Alderslade awarded the nights with 4.5-star and five-star reviews, respectively, describing night two as “the ultimate celebration of heavy metal.” Alderslade highlighted James Hetfield’s exceptional vocal performance, engaging stage banter, and Lars Ulrich’s humorous mishaps, making it a memorable night for fans.

Metallica, promoting their 72 Seasons album released in April, has been receiving positive reviews for their latest work. The band is gearing up for the next leg of their tour, with live performances scheduled in mainland Europe from May to July 2024, followed by a tour across the Americas from August to September. Their tour has become a celebration of heavy metal, captivating audiences with a mix of classic hits and newer material.
