The 25-year-old rapper made headlines by acquiring a nearly 1-acre property in Pompano Beach, Florida, for a sum of $1.8 million, as reported by the Real Deal.
Sitting at 1511-1547 Hammondville Road, the property comprises two single-story commercial structures dating back to the 1950s, encompassing a total of approximately 3,800 square feet and 4,900 square feet.
According to insights from Danilo Aquino of Apex Capital Realty, the intermediary representing the seller in this transaction, the musician is contemplating a dual approach: refurbishing one of the existing buildings while considering the demolition of the other to facilitate the construction of a new retail edifice.
Conversely, Kodak Black’s representative, Kaila Maman from Beachfront Realty, disclosed that the artist envisions a transformation of the premises into an upscale retail haven, complete with a dining establishment.
Interestingly, Kodak Black’s journey from an artist to a real estate investor finds its roots in his upbringing within the vicinity of the Golden Acres affordable housing complex. Aquino commented on his deep-seated community connections.
Notably, Pompano Beach has experienced a surge in real estate development activities over the recent years.
Parallel to these endeavors, Kodak Black has encountered legal entanglements on several occasions, including charges related to robbery, battery, false imprisonment of a minor, criminal ꜱеҳual conduct, fiгearm possession, and cannabis possession.
