Similar to other luxury car brands, Maserati also offers an exclusive customization program called Fuoriserie, and the latest customer to seek this service is David Beckham – the talented English midfielder who opted to personalize his supercar MC20.
“Being a car enthusiast, designing my own MC20 through the Fuoriserie customization program has been an incredible experience,” he shared. “Every little detail on each car model, from the exterior design, color to interior decorations, reflects the personality of the user.”
David Beckham’s inspiration to customize the Maserati MC20 came from the football club he founded in the US, Inter Miami FC, with the primary colors of the Italian supercar chosen to be pink and black, mirroring the team’s uniforms. The contrast is further accentuated by a combination of matte and glossy surfaces, inspired by American football team uniforms.
The majority of David Beckham’s Maserati MC20 is finished in glossy black, while the Trident logo on the grille and the C-pillars, along with the Maserati lettering on the rear, feature a matte black texture. Brembo brakes are visible on the alloy wheels.
Inside the personalized Maserati MC20, the dominant colors are black leather and contrasting Alcantara, with pink stitching. The Alcantara-covered headrest is embellished with laser engraving, while the backrest features a 3D-depth pattern. Between the front seats lies a nameplate with a mix of matte and glossy effects, reading “For David” in aluminum beneath the pink Maserati Fuoriserie lettering.
The starting price for a Maserati MC20 is $250,000, but fully customized models can easily double that figure.
David Beckham’s grand gesture of personalizing his Maserati MC20 not only showcases his love for cars but also reveals the meaningful connection he has with his football club, making it an attention-grabbing addition to his impressive car collection.
