As the saying goes, Drake is “on dad duty.”
The “Nice For What” rapper took his son Adonis Graham, age 5, to the Scotiabank Arena to see his father and the Toronto Raptors beat the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday. Both individuals were spectators at the court.
Photos from their outing were posted to the Raptors’ official Instagram account.
Drake grins broadly as Adonis dribbles the ball in the first snapshot. The second picture shows the two of them sitting side by side, watching the court.
Blue jeans, a denim jacket, a white T-shirt, and sherpa shoes were what the executive producer of “Euphoria” sported. A black NASA coat and black leggings complemented Adonis’ black sneakers with white and red accents.
Fans have commented how much they adore Drake and Adonis’ courtside interaction.
“That’s too cute!” Serving as designated Dad. A fan exclaimed, “Love it!” and another questioned, “Name a better dad-son duo, I’ll wait.”
That’s your finest angle,” he said. Someone person added in, “You must be so proud of your handsome little man.
Adorable, as someone else put it.
Someone said, “Adonis is growin’ up so fast.”
“Adorable,” another user replied with a heart emoji.
Just who is Drake’s kid?
In October of 2017, Drake and French artist Sophie Brussaux became parents to a boy. They didn’t announce the arrival of their son to the world until March of 2020.
“We have found ourselves in a situation, and we are both equally responsible,” Drake said in 2018 on HBO’s The Shop. “Now, I’m just really excited to be a great father.”
Lots of basketball games are attended by him.
Adonis enjoys watching basketball games just as much as his father, a lifelong supporter of the Toronto Raptors and a regular presence in the arena.
There have been multiple sightings of Drake and his son attending games at the Scotiabank Arena.
He is also a basketball player.
Adonis is more than just a fan of basketball; he’s also a player. Drake posted a video to his Instagram feed in December 2021, showcasing his son’s talents.
In the video, he confidently asks Adonis, “Yo, where you learn to shoot like that?” Adonis responds, “I don’t know,” while shrugging his shoulders.
You managed to hit four out of five. You made four out of five putts! Drake included.
That’s because he can speak two languages.
Adonis, age 5, speaks English and French thanks to his mother, who lives in France.
In an Instagram video, Adonis asks his father, Drake, if he would like to learn French. “Yes, please,” Drake says.
