Drake places an almost £700,000 stake on Logan Paul to defeat Dillon Danis via KO; the mixed martial arts fighter is incensed at the ‘disrespectful’ amount placed ‘on his head’. Will the ‘Drake curse’ thus claim his life?

Drake, a famous musician, thinks Logan Paul will beat Dillon Danis in their grudge match on Saturday.

Co-headlining the night of boxing in Manchester with KSI’s and Tommy Fury are the MMA fighter and Youtuber-turned-boxer.

Drake, a seasoned gambler, thinks Paul has a decent chance of knocking out his opponent, who has launched a stunning campaign of personal insults in the buildup to the battle.

If Danis is knocked out in dramatic fashion by his countryman, the ‘One Dance’ star stands to make about £1.1m ($1.3m) from his initial £696k ($850,000).

Drake’s choice of winner did not sit well with the 30-year-old, who added fuel to the fire by hitting Paul in the face with a microphone during the final press conference on Thursday.

“850 on my head is disrespect,” he said on X (previously Twitter). He included a photo of himself and the ex-Degrassi actor in his tweet.

Paul, on the other hand, might not be so appreciative of the Canadian’s support given his history of picking losing teams and athletes.

Drake wagered $400,000 (£328,000) on Logan’s brother Jake to defeat Tommy Fury earlier this year, but Fury ended up winning the fight on points.

‘F***! Drake is to blame for this! After learning of his friend’s massive wager, the younger Paul cracked a joke during his postgame news conference. “Why did you do this to me, Drake?

Recently, he seemed to turn a turnaround when he predicted that Argentina would defeat France in the World Cup final.

Although he lost his Super Bowl bet because the game was decided by penalties in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs back in early February.

Fans were worried that WWE superstar Paul would be forced to pull out of the match after Danis’s violent outburst towards him. After arguing back and forth verbally, Danis finally hit Paul square in the forehead with a microphone.

Paul was helped off the platform, cradling his head, and Danis posted a photo of the bloody scene to social media shortly afterward.

To the contrary, Paul’s business partner KSI told Mail Sport that Paul was “fine” and ready to battle this coming weekend.
